Robert Schumann: Liederzyklus, op. 39

This ipipapa edition is based on the new edition of the Liederkreis, op. 39, authorised by Schumann and published by Friedrich Whistling in Leipzig in 1850. This revised version, with a total of twelve songs, was preceded by an earlier printing in 1842 in Vienna by Tobias Haslinger, after Robert Schumann had composed the pieces in 1840 - his so called song year.
